The following purchase policies are designed to ensure your understanding of the purchase process on Tecogis Payment Gateway.
Tecogis acts as the agent to those who are promoting or otherwise providing the events for which you purchase tickets, ("Event Promoters") and also for /Multiplexes/Theatres/Movie halls (“Cinemas”). Tecogis shall act as a facilitator of the transaction and shall collect payments for the Event Promoters.
Tecogis Payment Gateway sells tickets on behalf of Event Promoters, which means Tecogis does not set the ticket prices or determine seating locations and therefore does not control the inventory or its availability.
All ticket prices for events that occur in India are stated in Indian Rupees.
Tecogis Payment Gateway accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, select Debit Cards and Net Banking.
If you do not receive a confirmation number (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with Tecogis Customer Service whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. Tecogis will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
Tickets purchased on Tecogis Payment Gateway are subject to a per ticket non-refundable convenience charge per order processing fee.
When purchasing tickets on Tecogis Payment Gateway, you are limited to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a "ticket limit"). This ticket limit is posted during the purchase process and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices.
Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your booking details. Tecogis prohibits exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged, cancelled or refunded.
Orders will be processed only after a billing address, and other billing information, has been verified. Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket order that can delay processing and delivery. In these cases, Tecogis customer service will attempt to contact you, using the information provided at the time of purchase. If Tecogis is unable to reach you after its initial attempt, Tecogis may cancel your order and may sell your tickets to another customer.
Tecogis offers multiple delivery options. The options may vary from for different events/movies. Currently the following delivery options are available:
Customer Identification/Authentication In all the cases you will need to produce the credit/debit card used to purchase the tickets for picking up the tickets at the venue. In case the credit/debit card user is not picking up the tickets, an authorization with the photocopy of this credit/debit card signed by the credit/debit card holder need to be produced at the time of picking up the tickets. Please note that signature on the card must match the signature used for authorization. Physical Tickets will be delivered to your address confirmed on the website.
Tecogis Payment Gateway or its licensors are committed to protecting your privacy as an Internet user whenever you buy goods or services from a Merchant which uses Tecogis Payment Gateway. The Merchant will generally be using Tecogis Payment Gateway when the cardholder is using a credit or debit card over the Internet, Phone, Fax, Unattended or Integrated EFTPOS system. Tecogis Payment Gateway recognizes its responsibility to keep confidential at all times any information which Tecogis Payment Gateway acquires in connection with such a transaction, whether directly from the Cardholders or Merchant. Tecogis Payment Gateway protects personal information (at a minimum) to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. Please note however; Tecogis Payment Gateway responsibility is limited to protection by Tecogis Payment Gateway of information which Tecogis Payment Gateway obtains. Tecogis Payment Gateway itself cannot, of course, control the use or disclosure by your supplier of any information which they obtain from you.
To enable Tecogis Payment Gateway to provide secure payment facilities it will typically acquire information which may include the Cardholder's name, credit card number (with the expiry date) and billing address.
Tecogis Payment Gateway uses the information to obtain authorization of the transaction from the Issuing bank of the credit card and Tecogis Payment Gateway' own or the Merchant's bank and to process the payment. Some details from the transaction (such as name, email and delivery address) may be made available to the Merchant - Tecogis Payment Gateway web based transactions management system, which allows Merchants to track transactions and process refunds.
Tecogis Payment Gateway is committed to data security. Tecogis Payment Gateway uses a variety of technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example,Tecogis Payment Gateway stores the data in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities secured by the latest in surveillance and security technology. When Tecogis Payment Gateway transmits sensitive information (such as a credit card numbers), Tecogis Payment Gateway protects it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
